Back on Track Panel Discussion on April 13, 11 – 12 am on a post-pandemic ‘Future of Women and Girls in sports’

The Kitchener Waterloo Sports Council and its KidSport KW Chapter are pleased to provide the link to our exciting one-hour webinar on April 13, 11 am – 12 pm.

A discussion about a post-pandemic future for women and girls in sports. Our panelists will share their views on what’s needed to include more girls and women in sports. We’ll also cover how female athletes can use their hard-won life lessons to shatter barriers in workplaces.

Members of the panel are: 

Amanda Woodcroft – Field Hockey Canada member, Professor Crystal Shadd (Conestoga College) former KW and Canadian national Athletics competitor; Tamara Grahovac – former KW athlete, competing in Athletics (University of Pennsylvania); Senator Marty Deacon – former educator (Waterloo Region) and Team Canada Chef de Mission Commonwealth Games (Senate of Canada ).

The webinar host is Vanja Lakic, former instructor and national tennis athlete, international journalist (including Sports Illustrated, and a Director of the KW Sports Council.
