DESCRIPTION:Thanks to information from Paralympic Committee; \n“PyeongChang\, March 6\, 2018 – It will be easier than ever for people across the country to watch the Canadian Paralympic Team compete as every event of the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games will be available for viewing in Canada.\nThrough traditional television broadcasts as well as digital platforms\, the Canadian Paralympic Committee Media Consortium\, including CBC/Radio-Canada\, Sportsnet\, AMI\, Twitter\, and Facebook will bring every minute of action from PyeongChang to Canada. Presenting sponsors of the broadcast are Bell\, CIBC\, Canadian Tire\, Sport Chek\, Petro-Canada\, and Toyota.\nTelevision coverage featured daily\nA total of 125 hours will be aired on television throughout the 10 days of the Games.\nCBC/Radio-Canada will air live coverage of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies in English and French. CBC will also provide live coverage on Saturday mornings from 6-10 a.m. ET (3-7 a.m. PT) and Sunday mornings from 6-9:30 a.m. ET (3-6:30 a.m. PT). CBC will also air coverage on weekdays from 4-6 p.m. (4:30-6:30 p.m. NT) in Canadians’ local time zones\, and on weekend afternoons. Radio-Canada will air a daily French-language highlights show on weekend afternoons from 3-5 p.m. ET and on weeknights at 11 p.m.\nSportsnet One will air re-broadcasts of the competition from PyeongChang daily. They will be joined by reporters Lauren Woolstencroft and Josh Dueck\, two of Canada’s finest-ever Para alpine skiers. In the commentary booths will be Chris Daw\, Paul Rosen\, and Rob Snoek.\nFrench viewers will be treated to host Marie-Jose Turcotte\, who will be joined by Chantal Petitclerc for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies\, as well as reporters Jean St-Onge and Benoit Huot. Play-by-play broadcasters and analysts will include Michel Chabot\, Rodrigue Gilbert\, Gilles Gagnon\, Jean-Thomas Boily\, Philippe Crepeau\, Jocelyn Huot\, Christian Hrab\, Justine Boutet\, and Carl Marquis.\nIn addition\, Para swimmer Huot\, a 20-time Paralympic medallist\, and Para ice hockey player Kevin Rempel\, a bronze medallist in Sochi\, will be bringing fresh video content to people across Canada as reporters for the media consortium.
