2025 Toronto Sport Summit, Nov 29 at Humber College

Community Sport Councils Ontario is pleased to work with the Toronto Community Sport Collective and Humber College to offer this years Toronto Sport Summit scheduled for Sat, Nov 29 at Humber College North. 

The event theme is ‘sustaining community sport’. The event will feature the following opportunities;

Six sessions focused on supporting community sport sustainability;

1. Lets get organized Speakers: Steve Indig, Sport Law and Jonathan DiPasquale, Instant Risk Coverage
2. Where are the volunteers? Speaker: Stuart McLaren, Coaches Association of Ontario
3. Where can we play? Speakers: TDSB and City of Toronto
4. Who’s not playing? Speakers: Archie Allison, Variety Village and James Murphy, ParaSport Ontario
5. Funding play Speaker: Sara Restani, Kidsport Ontario
6. Legacy programs of the world Cup Speaker: City of Toronto Parks & Recreation

A Women is Sport Panel will be offered, see poster below, a marketplace for businesses wanting to connect with the community sport sector groups (Sport clubs, Community Sport Councils and Accessible Councils, Municipalities, Colleges and Universities).

A plenary session will also be offered involving presentations from the following organizations:

1. Mental Game Academy Speaker: Larissa Mills
2. Canadian Tire Jumpstart Speaker: Local Regional Manager-Canadian Tire Jumpstart
3. Community Sport Councils Ontario Speakers: Kevin Arnsdorf & Jeff Carmichael
